Interactive learning methods

Wooclap has live learning methods with which teachers can test the understanding level of students using different methods like Polls, Q&A sessions, and Multiple-choice questions. It slows them to take feedback about the classes after the conduction, and students can rate the effectiveness of the course on a scale of five. In addition to that, it has features like a word cloud with frequently used and essential keywords that need to be memorized during lectures.

There is sorting, matching options, and quick slides feature easily add slides to the existing presentation that is being shared in the live classroom. Teachers can insert reference video links from YouTube and DailyMotion to support the points they have made. Allow students to brainstorm ideas and type it down on the space provided.

Import events and share

The event sharing feature makes it easy to share content and presentation space with colleagues. However, one event cannot be controlled by multiple account holders. Only the user that created the event has the granular control over access management. Events can be shared from the event settings and by entering the event code by the other user. The original event creator must grant access to the event, and any changes made by the accessing account will not be reflected in the original event.

Anonymous participation feature

By default, every user joining the presentation will be anonymous, but in most cases, they might be required to display their identity. In a classroom presentation, this is important as teachers need to know which students attended the presentation. Event creators can choose whether they require the username or not – before starting the presentation.

Then the participants will be prompted to enter the username upon joining the meeting. For further security and to prevent spamming and malicious uses, they may be required to login with Google or Facebook Social login feature.

Plugins to assist the teaching process

Wooclap has integrations with several plugins for making the experience seamless. It uses the PowerPoint plugin to insert questions dynamically during a presentation – in between the slides. Insert the Wooclap presentation data in the PDF and Keynote presentations.

It also enables Microsoft Teams integration so that presentation events can be created directly from its interface and also add current events to the Teams interface.
